Construction at Peck Athletic Complex has begun! The field is being prepped for turf, and improvements to the roads and sidewalks are underway. This all-season field, a joint project between Metro Parks Tacoma and Tacoma Public Schools, will support multiple sports and serve as the home for Stadium High School's baseball team, as well as community soccer and lacrosse leagues.

At Hilltop Heritage Middle School, the new fastpitch field is progressing. Turf is installed, and work on the lights, dugouts, and fencing continues. Last week, the restroom-concession stand was delivered.

Both fields will benefit Stadium High and Hilltop Heritage fastpitch and baseball teams. Construction is expected to wrap up this winter in time for Stadium baseball and fastpitch spring season.
