Off-Site Student Parking
We were recently notified by the City of Tacoma that both sides of N 4th St, between N C St and N D St, will transition to permit/2‑hour parking within the next couple of weeks. Only residents who live within the designated zone will be eligible to purchase long‑term permits; all other vehicles will be limited to two hours.
The City understands there can be a learning curve when parking regulations change. To help ease the transition, they plan to install the new signs soon, so students are aware of the change in advance. Before enforcement begins, the signs will be temporarily bagged, and the City may place flyers on vehicles in the area to bring awareness to the upcoming changes.
Stadium Cheer Tryouts
Get ready, Tigers—Stadium Cheer is gearing up for the 2026-2027 season! We’re looking for spirited, enthusiastic students ready to represent Stadium High with pride. Open Gyms run April 20–30, Monday through Thursday, where you can try new skills, meet the coaches, and get a feel for cheer with no commitment.
Tryouts for the 2026-2027 season are May 11–16.
A mandatory parent/guardian information meeting will be held on April 14 at 6:00 PM in the Stadium Main Gym. Come learn what it means to be part of Stadium Cheer—we can’t wait to see you there!
Sophomore Opportunity
If you have a current sophomore, check out this leadership opportunity. The Washington State Board of Education is accepting applications from sophomores to serve as its next student board member. Applications are open until Tuesday, March 31.
Student board members help shape statewide education policy by representing over one million students across Washington and sharing perspectives and lived experience that might otherwise go unheard. Students gain leadership skills, policy experience, and professional connections that can support future goals after high school.

Reminders from last week…
Activity Bus Update – Spring Season
Our activity bus departure times for Northeast Tacoma have changed for the spring season. Buses will now depart at 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM.
Additionally, our drivers are experiencing difficulty accessing the bus zone due to cars parking or waiting in the red zone on Stadium Way. For the safety of our students and bus drivers:
- Student drop-off and pick-up must occur at the flagpole on N 2nd St only.
- The red zone on Stadium Way is reserved for buses and emergency vehicles only.
Thank you for helping us keep our students safe and our bus routes running smoothly.
ParentVUE & StudentVUE
Families, teachers have been receiving questions about the differences between ParentVUE and StudentVUE. Students are able to see detailed assignment information that is not available in ParentVUE. Please encourage your students to take ownership of their learning and use StudentVUE consistently so they have access to everything they need.
