Be On Time
It is important for students to arrive on time every day. For our safety, the exterior doors at Stadium lock at 7:35 AM at the start of 1st period. All students with a 1st period class need to be inside the building before 7:35 AM.
Students who are scheduled for a partial day at Stadium may arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to their first class. Our exterior doors will open during the passing period for students to enter the building.
Freshman Counselor
We are so pleased to announce that Katrina Caldwell is our new 9th grade counselor. Katrina is coming to us most recently from Meeker Middle School and is so excited to support the Class of 2027 this year.
World Language Competency Exam
The World Language Competency Exam is an opportunity for 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students to earn up to four (4.0) high school credits in a world language. Students may earn the Washington State Seal of Biliteracy when they demonstrate competency in English and a world language.

If so, we encourage you to schedule an exam with our school's World Language Assessment Liaison, Mrs. Kurkova. Please email her at kcarbon@tacoma.k12.wa.us. The registration deadline is November 3. The exam will take place in December and those testing will receive more information.

Reminders from last week…
Household Information Survey
We need your help! Please complete the Household Information Survey. It can be accessed on the TPS website, where you can print and find translated versions, or through ParentVUE.
When families complete the Household Information Survey, it helps fund things like after-school programs, school counselors, health and wellness services, and classroom resources. It also ensures that students who are eligible for low-income benefits and discounts are recognized and can take advantage of additional benefits, including things like fee waivers for ASB cards.
Please complete this survey TODAY. It is due by October 1, 2023.
Email householdsurvey@tacoma.k12.wa.us or call (253) 571-1365 with questions.
