Student Schedules – ACTION REQUIRED

As I shared last week, we are fortunate to be adding staff so we can open more class sections and balance class sizes.

  • I have personally visited each class that is being shifted to a new teacher and shared with the students where to report on Monday.
  • Some individual student schedules will be changing. Students should check their StudentVUE account tonight in preparation for tomorrow.
  • Please note that individual schedule adjustments may continue to occur throughout the week as we finalize class balancing.

In many ways, tomorrow may feel like another “first day of school.” We understand that transitions can be challenging, but adding teachers allows us to reduce overloaded classes and create more supportive learning environments for both students and staff.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this process together.

Back to School Night

Back to School Night is Wednesday, September 24, and we are excited to welcome you to campus! This year, we’re trying a new format designed to give families more flexibility throughout the evening.

We’ll begin together in the main gym at 6:00 PM with a short welcome and introductions of administrators, counselors, and other key staff. From there, you’ll have the chance to explore your student’s classes in an open-house format. Counselors will also be available in the gym with printed student schedules with room numbers to help guide you.

We look forward to connecting with you and sharing the great work happening in our classrooms. The evening will conclude at 8:00 PM.

No Cell Bell to Bell

As we begin the fourth week of school, we’re excited to share how well our cell phone policy is going. Students and staff are working together to create focused, distraction-free classrooms, and the results have been fantastic.

Thank you for supporting this effort at home! Please continue to help us by reminding your student that cell phones, earbuds, and headphones should be stored in their bags from bell to bell in every class.

We are proud of the way our students have stepped up to meet this expectation and grateful for the partnership of our families in reinforcing it. Together, we’re building strong habits that keep our classrooms focused on learning.

Homecoming 2025

The theme for Stadium’s 2025 Homecoming is “A Night Under the Lanterns.”

Homecoming is the week of October 13-18. That week will be a spirit week – theme days to be announced soon. Our homecoming assembly will be on Wednesday, October 15. The homecoming football game against Kennedy is on Friday, October 17. The homecoming dance is Saturday, October 18, from 7:00-9:00 PM in the Stadium main gym. Attire for the dance is semi-formal.

  • Dance tickets go on sale Monday, September 29, and will be sold before school, during lunch, and after school through Friday, October 17.
  • Tickets will not be sold at the dance, online, or by phone.
  • Prices will be advertised soon.
  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
    • Tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
    • All attendees must have and show photo ID and their ticket for entry.
    • Attendees must arrive by 8:00 PM to be admitted.
    • There is no re-entry.
    • Please visit School Dances - Stadium High School for more information.

We also understand that our Tigers may want to attend the dance with a significant person who attends another school. Here is the process for our guest attendees:

  • Guest forms will be available in the main office on Wednesday, September 24.
    • Stadium students must pick up the guest form, as non-students cannot be on campus during school hours.
    • The Stadium host student must have a completed guest form with all required signatures before they purchase their guest ticket. Only Stadium students may purchase tickets.
    • Guest tickets must be purchased by Wednesday, October 8.
    • Each Stadium student may bring no more than ONE honored guest.
    • Guests must be in at least 9th grade and under 21 years of age.
    • Guests must arrive and leave with their Stadium student.
