Students, if your ID card was being reprinted to reflect that you purchased ASB or if you had your picture taken but did not receive your ASB/ID card, please stop by the main office before school, during lunch, or after school to get it.
Stadium Classes
Thank you for your patience as we tried to honor schedule corrections. We have been able to open a few additional class sections that will help us with our full classes. Our counselors are now shifting students to these new sections and doing their best to balance class sizes to alleviate overloaded classes. Some students will have a change to their schedule. Our counselors are sending emails and students can check StudentVUE if they have questions about their current schedule. We plan to complete this process by September 27. Thank you for your patience.
Guidance counselors are available for students to drop by during their lunch!
Stadium’s Fall Theatre Production
Stadium’s Fall Musical is Disney’s, Frozen! Tryouts for cast and crew are September 23 & 24. Choose ONE of the days to attend from 2:45-5:00 PM in the Stadium Theater. Callbacks will be September 25-26. Performances will be November 21-24.
To audition for Crew, come prepared with your fall schedule conflicts and an eager desire to get involved! For Cast auditions, be prepared to sing a short song, even “Happy Birthday” is fine. Please do not select a song from Frozen. You may sing with or without accompaniment (if you bring sheet music, an accompanist will be provided). Dialogue to read will also be provided at auditions. All are welcome and encouraged to tryout!
If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Jacobsen at ejacobs@tacoma.k12.wa.us.
Stadium Homecoming 2024
The 2024 Stadium Homecoming Dance will be held in the main gym at Stadium on Saturday, October 12, from 7:00-9:00 PM. Attire for the dance is semi-formal.
We have so many Tigers on campus this year, and it’s important that every Tiger who wants to attend the Homecoming Dance is able to do so. We also understand that our Tigers may want to attend the dance with a significant person who attends another school. Here is the process for our guest attendees:
- Guest forms will be available in the main office on Monday, September 23.
- Stadium students must pick up the guest form, as non-Stadium students cannot be on campus during school hours.
- The Stadium host student must have a completed guest form with all required signatures before they purchase their guest ticket. Only Stadium students may purchase tickets.
- Guest tickets must be purchased by Thursday, October 3.
- Each Stadium student may bring ONE honored guest.
- Guests must be in at least 9th grade and under 21 years of age.
- Guests must arrive and leave with their Stadium student.
- All attendees must show photo ID and arrive by 8:00 PM for entrance.
- All dance tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

ParentVUE
Don’t forget to use ParentVUE to monitor attendance, check grades, and see assignments. You can use the app or login on a desktop.
Stay Home When Sick
You can help limit the spread of infectious illnesses by keeping your student home from school when they are sick. Students should stay home if:
- They are too sick to participate in normal activities
- They need a level of care or observation not manageable at school
- They create an unhealthy or unsafe environment for others
Did you know that MultiCare offers a school health clinic that's open to all Tacoma Public Schools students? This clinic is open three days a week throughout the school year, and you may call to make an appointment. Get more details about the clinic, located at Mount Tahoma High School.
Reminders from last week…
All Families – CNEEB Application
We need your help! We are asking all families to complete the annual CNEEB application by October 1: MySchoolApps - Select District. It’s important because it helps Stadium get additional resources for students and it helps families with benefits like fee waivers for school-related activities.
It takes about 10 minutes to complete on a phone or computer. If you need assistance and would like our main office to assist, please stop by. Families can choose to translate the application in their preferred language. Printable applications are also available on the TPS website.
Questions? Email householdapplication@tacoma.k12.wa.us.
Have a wonderful week, Tigers!
