Each graduate will receive 8 tickets. Additional tickets will be available to purchase at the school for $5 each. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the Tacoma Dome the day of graduation, cash sales only.
Entrance is by ticket only. Each group will get a seating placement noted on their tickets.
ADA-accessible seating will be available. People with disabilities will be able to sit with the group their graduate invited.
Parking costs $15.00 per vehicle. We ask that families carpool to the event to ensure there’s enough space for everyone in the parking lot. Graduates and attendees can park in lots A, F, G, C, and the LeMay Car Museum lot.
Parking lots D, E, and K are for attendees with disabilities and are van accessible. Vehicles utilizing accessible parking lots must display appropriate placard, tabs, or license plates. All Tacoma Dome lots are wheelchair accessible.
For those who need closed captions, you can watch the Livestream on our district YouTube, and on our website for all other events. For local friends and family without internet service, ceremonies will be broadcast on KTPS TV Comcast Channel 26 or Click/Rainier Connect Channel 25.
Graduations will be broadcast on the Tacoma Public Schools Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/tacomaschools/. Remember to click "Like" and "Follow" on our Facebook page to receive notifications on your phone when the graduation starts.
Per Tacoma Public School Regulation 2410R, all students must participate in rehearsal to be included in the graduation ceremony. Graduation Rehearsal is Monday, June 13 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Stadium in the main gym. Graduates are responsible for their own transportation.
At graduation, graduates will enter the seating area in groups of four (4). Graduates should be prepared with their walking groups prior to rehearsal. If graduates do not have a group of four, Stadium staff will create groups of four at rehearsal. All groups will have four graduates.
To graduate from high school in Washington state, at a minimum students must earn required credits, and complete both a Graduation Pathway and a High School Beyond Plan. If you have questions about your eligibility to graduate please reach out to your school counselor.
